Back in 1895 in Turin, Italy, Luigi Lavazza opened a small corner shop. The shop sold different types of food but became famous for Lavazza’s ability to blend coffees for his customers’ preferred taste. The shop not only survived the Second World War, but it also boomed, with the help of the Fiat factory close by. At this point, Lavazza’s corner shop grew into a company. In 1950, the coffee company began to vacuum pack coffee, and this is still how they keep the coffee as fresh as possible. When coffee capsules become a favorite in the 1980s, Lavazza was quick to take advantage of the latest coffee boom. Lavazza celebrated its 120th anniversary by sending the first espresso into space.

This is Lavazza’s premium espresso coffee beans, made from a combination of Brazilian, Central American, and Indian Capiroyal beans. It’s a robust coffee with flavors, especially hints of caramel and walnut. The beans are blended and roasted in Italy. The beans come in a 2.2lb bag.
Lavazza Gran Riserva Filtro
Here, we have ground coffee that comes from 100% natural Arabica beans. It has a dark, bold taste with notes of cocoa and caramel. You will also be able to smell these sweeter flavors. Again, the coffee is blended and roasted in Italy. This ground coffee is best used with a drip coffee maker or French press. You can choose from an 8oz brick or a 2.2lb bag of ground coffee.
